Terms of Service

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms govern access to and use of Noviqent Find a Tender by a business, sole trader or organisation customer (Customer). By creating an account or otherwise accessing the Service, the Customer agrees to be bound by these Terms.

The Service indexes UK public-sector procurement notices published by the Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder (both operated by HM Government) and presents them with search, filtering and tracking tools not available on those platforms directly.

2. Source data and accuracy

Notice data is sourced from Find a Tender Service and Contracts Finder, both published under the Open Government Licence, and is refreshed on a recurring schedule. Noviqent does not control, verify, or guarantee the accuracy, completeness or currency of the underlying government data, and a notice's authoritative version is always the one published by the originating government service.

The Customer is solely responsible for confirming the current status, requirements and documents of any notice directly with the contracting authority or the relevant e-tendering portal before relying on it, and for meeting all submission deadlines and requirements set by the buyer.

3. No submission or document-hosting service

IMPORTANT: The Service does not submit bids, tenders or any documents to any contracting authority, buyer, or e-tendering portal on the Customer's behalf, and does not log in to any third-party portal using the Customer's credentials. Any credentials the Customer chooses to store for their own reference (a future feature) are stored solely for the Customer's own manual use.

Actual tender documents and bid submission for a given notice typically take place on a separate e-tendering portal operated by the buyer or a third party, outside of this Service. The Customer remains solely responsible for registering on, and submitting through, any such portal.

4. Accounts and single sign-on

An account created on the Service may also be usable to sign in to other Noviqent products via a shared Noviqent account (Keycloak-based single sign-on). The Customer is responsible for activity through its authorised accounts, and for keeping credentials confidential.

5. Optional AI features

Where the Customer connects their own third-party AI provider API key (bring-your-own-key), any AI-assisted drafting or extraction features send relevant notice or company-profile text to that provider under the Customer's own account with that provider, subject to that provider's own terms. Noviqent does not operate or warrant the underlying AI provider. AI-generated content is always a draft for the Customer's own review, never submitted or sent automatically.

6. Data protection

See the Privacy Notice for detail on how personal data is processed. Where the Customer stores its own company profile or notes within the Service, the Customer is responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of what it stores.

7. Availability and changes

The Service is provided on a reasonable-endeavours basis. Features described as upcoming or in development are not yet available and are not guaranteed to ship on any particular timeline. Noviqent may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Noviqent is not liable for any loss arising from reliance on notice data, a missed submission deadline, or a decision made using the Service, including AI-assisted drafts. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
